Welcome to StitchDesk. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our mobile app (CRM and Social), website, and related services, and describes your privacy rights.

Information We Collect

We collect and process the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, business name, phone number, and authentication credentials
• CRM / Tailor Business Data: Customers you add, orders, measurements, payments, and business settings
• Social Account Information: Handle (@username), display name, avatar, bio, location, interests, verification materials you submit, and linked designer/customer relationships
• Social Content: Posts, images, captions, tags, comments, likes, follows, blocks, reports, reviews, body measurement profiles you create, and messages you send (message content is used only to deliver the messaging service)
• Product Analytics (usage events): Aggregated interaction data such as screens visited, post impressions and opens, likes/comments/shares (counts and event types), profile visits (without listing who viewed you by name to the public), search result counts (not full search text), notification opens, and technical signals (app version, platform, approximate session identifiers). Events may be stored temporarily on your device offline and sent to our servers when you are online
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and push notification tokens
• Local Offline Cache: Recent feed posts, conversations, and related data stored on your device so Social features can work offline or on flaky networks

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain StitchDesk CRM and Social features
• Sync your data across devices when you are online
• Deliver social interactions (feed, profiles, comments, messaging, notifications)
• Show creators approximate insights (e.g. post impressions, opens, likes, comments) — we do not sell “viewer identity lists”
• Operate our admin tools (moderation, verification, safety, product analytics dashboards)
• Send transactional emails and push notifications you enable
• Improve product quality, reliability, and performance
• Process payments for premium features
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

Product Analytics Details

We collect product analytics to understand how StitchDesk is used and to improve the experience. Analytics events are designed to exclude private message bodies, passwords, payment card numbers, and raw free-text search queries. Server-side actions (such as likes and comments) may also generate analytics records tied to your account id for product metrics.

Where possible, analytics payloads are minimized. Admin staff may review aggregated metrics and limited event logs for product, safety, and support purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our servers and, for offline features, on your device. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Offline caches and pending analytics queues on your device are cleared when you log out of Social (and when you clear app data).

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, push delivery, email)
• Other StitchDesk users according to Social visibility (e.g. public posts, profiles, comments you choose to publish)
• Law enforcement when required by law

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (including social account)
• Export your data where available
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based

Data Retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active. After account deletion, we aim to delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days unless law requires longer retention. Product analytics events are typically retained for a limited period (for example up to about 90 days for raw events and longer for aggregated daily summaries used for product reporting). Offline caches on your device last until replaced, logged out, or cleared.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. The app may store technical preferences and offline caches on device, and may send product analytics events as described above. Our website may use essential cookies for functionality. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies on our marketing site for ad retargeting.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
